This week, we turn to the rocking world for our Coffee of the Week highlight, with the collection of three coffees under the Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee from Joey Kramer, drummer of the legendary Aerosmith.
Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee’s sustainable practices support a wide diversity of plant and animal life by providing food and shelter for migrating birds, helping to filter carbon dioxide from the air and reducing the dangers of global warming.
Fueled by his love for music…and spirited beans, this organic, custom-roasted shade-grown Arabica coffee is available in three varieties:
Ethiopia: Strong, earthy woodiness with hints of clove, chocolate and a great variety of fruit and citrus notes.
Guatemala: A mix of bright citrus with dark chocolate and dark char that has a pleasant woodiness, free of any bitterness.
Sumatra: Earthy at the start, then evoking tones of chocolate, citrus and sweetness.
The Rockin’ & Roastin’ line is available throughout the New England market: Roche Bros. (18 locations in MA); Dave’s Fresh Marketplace (nine locations in RI); Durham Marketplace (Durham, NH); Trucchi’s Supermarkets (six locations in MA); and, Geissler’s Supermarket (seven locations in CT) as well as the recently announced partnership with Big Y, which has 59 locations in MA & CT.
